Description
This is just a simple iPhone holder that clips on the display of a MacBook Pro. This is tested with a 2019 15" MacBook Pro, but should work with any version and may work for other laptop models.
I created this to solve the unique problem faced by VTuber DJs, particularly when I'm DJing, having my phone in a desk holder, I would go out of frame dancing. So, this moves the iPhone LIDAR to a position where it has a much better field of view, which makes VTube Studio respond better for my streaming.
I included an opening for a power cable when the phone is in portrait orientation in this holder.
Printing Instructions
This is already oriented for optimal printing. Otherwise, settings should be pretty straight forward.
- Orientation: As set in the model. I designed the model so it should not need any rotation for printing.
- Supports: None.
- Filament: eSUN ABS (should work in any other filament)
- Perimeters: 3
- Brim: 5mm
- Infill: Gyroid@40% (helps with rigidity, as ABS is pretty elastic)
- Layer Thickness: 0.20mm (0.4mm nozzle)
