Customizable pipe adapter for joining pipes of different dimensions. Designed for non-pressurized applications such as gutter systems. I use it to connect modern standard sheet-metal downspouts to the older, smaller plastic drain pipes around my house foundation.
How to customize:
Open the project in Autodesk Fusion 360 → Modify → Change Parameters, then adjust:
- Target Inner Diameter – diameter for the adapter to slot into (the recieving pipe)
- Target Outer Diameter – diameter for the adapter to wrap around (the feeding pipe)
- (Optional) Insertion Height – how deep the adapter extends for pipe insertion at both ends
- (Optional) Thickness – wall thickness (default = 2 mm)
- (Optional) Maximum Slope – the steepest overhang your printer can handle, model auto-adjusts height to keep the slope printable. Steeper slop = shorter adapter.
