Required materials:
Wood strips (5 mm depth × 20 mm width, available at OBI)
Slim hinges (60 × 35 × 1 mm)
ABS filament for 3D printing
BISON EPOXY 5 MIN glue
Wood clamps (for holding parts together)
Stapler (for attaching the insect net)
Assembly instructions:
Measure your window opening. For the longer side, add 4 cm to the measurement. The longer strips will be fully inserted into the printed corners, and the shorter strips rest against the longer strips – no additional length calculation is needed.
Glue the 3D printed corners to the wood strips using BISON EPOXY 5 MIN. Use clamps to hold the parts together and let the glue cure for about 1 hour.
Attach the Slim hinges with the same glue.
Stretch the insect net over the frame and secure it with a stapler. The net can be pulled taut and clipped into the printed corners before stapling to ensure proper tension.
Attach the latches. (They are designed for a 1.5 cm frame.)
