Gamecube CR2032 battery replacement holder
I didn't want to wait for a bought part to be shipped, so I made a 3D printed battery holder.
Basically you needs to:
1. desolder the battery
2. rip the existing contacts from the old battery (it's quite tough but can be done with some pliers) and flatten them again as good as possible
3. put the new battery into the holder
4. slide on the clip with the contacts
5. superglue the new holder onto the PCB
6. Solder the contacts again
Holds quite strongly. As long as you don't drop your cube on the floor this should hold forever.
I recommend printing with a 0.25mm nozzle (0.4 should work too, but didn't test it), 0.10-0.15mm layer height, PETG, no supports.
