Helicopter NH90

Model of a medium twin-engine NH90 multi-role helicopter produced by the NH Industries consortium. The model is my own version, revised in some details (tail boom) and designed in 1:24 scale so that it can be used with Playmobil, my son's favourite toy. The doors are sliding to allow access to the fuselage, and the landing gear is also retractable, but in my print I preferred to glue the landing gear in the extended position. The model was built in Fusion 360 in several separate parts to allow for printing in pieces. The joints are often made with red dowels. For greater strength, I recommend gluing the pieces together. I printed on Creality K1C using PLA, 20% infill and usually 2 outer layers, except for the fuselage, which is made in 3 layers
