Sd.Kfz.8 German Half-track

Sd.Kfz.8 Half-Track. All the pins and holes require some filing. The photo shows it towing a PaK 40 75mm. Most sources say it was used to tow a heavier gun. The new modified front axle 8, steps 9 and rear panel plug into the chassis A from the bottom. They are friction fit and will remain in place if not handled too much. The fenders 10 and 11 mount to the front axle . The storage rack takes a little care to get the piece in, but they fit together nicely if the are trimmed well. Need to print two of the following: side storage rack, front storage rack, tire, front wheel, axle and windshield. After the tires 21, wheels 20 and axles 19 are assembled, put a spot of glue on the axle before you insert it into the chassis. The modified components have improved installation plugs/receptacles and are not compatible with the older unmodified components.  Making this model makes me appreciate American manufacturing. An American haf-track has very angular features, which suggest they are much simpler to manufacture. This German half-track has very difficult curves pieces. The front fenders especially were difficult to craft. Enjoy :D
