Here's a simple bowl I designed to store bits while playing board games. They're decently sized without taking up too much space. They are also designed to nest well. No need for supports, though the underside sometimes needs a little clean up with some sandpaper.
You can also resize them pretty well to get a few sizes when some games need a bit more room for their bits.
