Recommended printing settings:
PLA is okay; PETG is better.
At least 4 perimeters / walls / loops all the way around.
At least 20% gyroid infill. (Higher is better.)
(When slicing for an H2D, rotate the model 40 degrees.)
Disclaimer: This is an acoustic model. As such, it does not scale, nor is it compatible with drivers other than the ones specified. Scaling / incorrect driver(s) will result in significantly diminished performance.
Assembly notes:
Use JB-Weld (or a similar two-part epoxy) along the tongue & groove joint, the vent extension ledge, the vent support paddle, and both ends of the brace pillar. Allow the vent extension to bond fully before joining the two halves of the enclosure. With the two halves joined, use a zip tie to keep the vent pressed against the support paddle until the epoxy between the two cures. Afterwards, the zip tie can be removed before the woofers go in. Use reusable adhesive to seal around the woofers.
Wiring / amplification:
All four drivers should be wired in the same phase. Whether you employ some combination of series / parallel or wire each driver into its own amplifier channel is entirely up to you and your gear. Aim for ~50W per driver, or ~200W total.
EQ: Subsonic (high-pass) filter at 30Hz, low-pass filter upwards of 70Hz.
