Best printed on it's side with tree supports. Note that Axel may be hard to install due to the spring pressure.
To make installation easier a 1.5 mm or 1/16 in Hex key can act as a supporting axel on the other side while you push the pin in.
I have also designed a spring inserter that goes over the two ends of the spring and lets you bend them parallel, the sleeve is used to lock them together, I ended up not using it but it may help you.
