Who hasn't got a giant novelty pencil with a dull point? Why don't the shops that sell giant novelty pencils also sell giant pencil sharpeners? Now you can sharpen your pencil and use it again!
Warning. It may require giant's strength to use this sharpener!
Should fit pencils up to 4cm in diameter. Uses a standard utility knife snap off blade.
Making this functional actually proved to be more difficult than expected. Getting the exact right amount of “bite” on the blade is tricky and I had to make a version 2 design with adjustable blade position.
Printing
- 0.4mm nozzle
- Use 4+ perimeters
- Supports not needed
- Extra infill around screw holes
Assembly
You need one of those snap off utility knife blades. Snap it off at 6cm length. The width should be at least 1.8cm. The hole in the blade is not important.

Using screw inserts is probably a good idea, however, I just cut threads into the plastic for my screws; I sure the screws will come loose soon, though.
Clamp the blade into position. But finding the perfect position will be tricky.
