ID Card Holder Slim

This ID card holder is designed to take up as little space as possible while still keeping your card and accessories secure, even when moving or swinging around.

It can hold:

• An employee ID card in standard credit-card format

• A small key (such as those commonly used for lockers)

• A YubiKey 5C NFC or YubiKey 5 NFC

Printing Details

• Layer height: 0.15 mm

• The icons on the backplate were painted in a different color. Since only the first few layers require dual filament, material waste is minimal.

• The card cover’s first layers are printed directly on the print bed. For the best transparency, use a smooth build plate. A textured plate can also work but may result in a blurry ID card.

• If you want to imprint your own text or logo (as shown in the example), you can add it in your slicer software.

Card Insertion & Removal

• Insertion: Place the ID card into the cover, then slide both card and cover from the top into the guiding rails. When inserted correctly, the cover will sit flush with the top rail.

• Removal: Push from the back with your finger and slide the card and cover upward.

Notes

The holding mechanism for the key and YubiKey has been tested extensively and keeps them firmly in place. However, print results may vary depending on your printer and settings, so always verify your own model before relying on it to prevent loss.
