This Desk Organizer has a lot of features, It has 3 compartments for pens and markers, a spot for sticky notes and business cards, plus a drawer that could host a number of small things, like paperclips, your keys, etc. Plus the really cool feature is that this also hosts a swappable Lithophane, Set up to be able to plug into with a 2.1mm jack.

A lot of design hours went into this one and I have learned a lot in the process.

This design has 4 Printed parts, the Desk Organizer Body, The Drawer, The drawer Handle, and the Lithophane Frame/Photo. It is approximately 8" Wide, by 4.5" Deep, by 4.5" tall.

If you want a battery version Lithophane you can simply close up the hole with a positive modifier.

If you want a powered Lithophane you will need a threaded Female Barrel Jack 5.5x2.1mm with a mounting hole Dia of 12mm, I used These off amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09H5L3KN5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

The Nut Fits in the Nut Holder fromt he inside and I tightened the jack from the outside with a small pair of pliers to prevent it from coming loose. Alternatively if you wanted a different exit location you could fill in this area and just put a 12mm (0.47) through hole out the right side using modifiers. I prefered the rear exit for my uses, hence the step up in the pens and the long holder for the nut.

You can use the LED lights of your preference just cut them to size link them together (Sodder or connectors) and apply adhesive to stick them to the inside of the organizer.

This Design uses 2 sizes of magnets: 4x 5x3mm Round Magnets (2 for the Organizer Body, 2 for the Frame) and 2x 10x5x2mm Rectangle Bar Magnets (1 for the frame and one (optional) one for the Drawer handle.

For the Organizer Body, this was designed to be used with minimal support. The only places that should need it are the front part of the drawer opening and the frame opening/stop. If slicing yourself I recommend painting on supports to the bridge-length you are comfortable with. The Helper Disk Mouse ears are included to aid with warping prevention but can be removed if you prefer. During Slicing pay attention to the bridging angle to ensure it is going across the ribs placed on the inside of the Lithophane feature, these are there to help with supporting the above layers, eliminating the need for support in this area.

For the Lithophane Frame, You just need to align your Lithophane that you want to use within the frame, the Frame's Interior Opening is 3.505" High by 3.255" wide So if you plan on using a 3.5" x 3.25" Litho you should be able to center it with the overlap. The Lithophane Frame attaches using two magnets and a rock in slot. I wanted a seamless design so I didn't want to use a slide in slot from the top, So I thought magnets would give that good fit, this way allows for the seamless look but slightly less magnets (2 instead of 4) so it's a little less to have to put in. I did have to sand the edges slightly to prevent sticking, for a smooth slide in and out, and will be adjusting this in my next version. For the Magnets, I have these embedded in the model but you could always add a negative part/modifier to their location if you wanted to glue them in after instead. I suggest adding a small drop of glue to the two small circle magnets if embedded so they don't pull up from the print head.

For the Drawer, I did have to sand a little as it was a tight fit top to bottom, I bumped the size down on the drawer by another .005-.010" so it should hopefully help eliminate or reduce the need to sand it to fit.

For the Drawer handle, you can add a magnet to the handle or not, for ease of your Lithophane removal later. The handle is designed to slide in and down as a friction fit via a small dovetail joint, I wanted a handle that could be attached without added fasteners and have the potential for easy removal for helping remove the Lithophane however, I feel like I may yet tweak this part of the design and update this later because I am not quite satisfied with it, so any suggestions are welcome here in the comments.

A side Note regarding the magnets: This is something I will be re-designing and updating as the force of the magnets pulling it shut, counteracts the release to much, I'll be doing some tests to find a stronger magnet, or tweak the design slightly, The Lithophane can still be removed with the magnet by sliding an fingernail and catching the edge.

Anyways, I hope you all like the design, I'm open to any and all feedback!
