It was easier than I thought and works well. This way the guitar can have an after life at a youth organization until it will finally break under the campfire strains.
The saddle is 48mm x 6mm x 8.5mm. It was printed with Prusa PETG, 0.1mm FAST DETAIL profile on a Prusa Core One with 100% infill.
Update 21.07.2026
I had another broken guitar that needed a saddle replacement and I had to redo everything. The new FreeCAD file is now fully parametric
step height
vertical string distance
saddle width
saddle length
horizontal string distance
saddle angle
String diameter for strings E A D G H e
So I do have the hope, that I do not have to redo the FreeCAD file next time.
Have fun printing an playing guitar!
