I got really inspired by the NASA Chainmail but though Hexagons are cute. But I want more!
I give to you my second in my series I named the SpaceMesh. This one is simple enough, a basic variant of the NASA Hex Chainmail, but with a wavy outline, As for the flexibility of the chainmail it is very similar to the original.
I've made the single link, a few sample grids and a “connector” variant.
If you want to request specific sample array just ask in the comments and i'll add them as soon as possible.
The XY ArrayBase STL is made to be copied in an array to make custom sized arrays
Settings for repetition of the XYArrayBase mesh :
X spacing : 13mm
Y spacing 22.5mm
