This is a simple, syringe-style tool for giving pills to your pet. The tip holds the pill, you depress the plunger after inserting the tool far enough into your pet's throat that they cannot spit it out. Follow this up with a behavioural or food treat to positively reinforce the experience for your pet.
Update: Added a second tip with thicker lugs as the first version was a bit fragile for larger pills.
Notes:
- Tip is 11mm in diameter at its widest. Total length is 140mm.
- Printed using a harder TPU for the tip, and PLA for everything else.
- I used two 17.7x5.6mm springs, but this is not essential as you can just pull the plunger back manually after administering the pill
- The finger grip acts as the stop for the plunger. Put the springs on the plunger, insert it into the body, then push it in when you superglue the finger grip onto the body.
- I did not glue the tip on, as it was a pretty tight friction fit, and I want to be able to replace it.
