Aria Art Plotter - NOW Fully Open Source CNC Drawing Machine

Build a professional-grade art plotter for ~$600 in parts

The Aria Art Plotter is a fully open-source CNC drawing machine with a 20 x 20 inch, (500mm × 500mm) drawing area and sub-millimeter precision. After a year of development and months of reliable studio use, I'm releasing everything—all design files, firmware, documentation, and assembly guides—completely free to the maker community.

Why I Built This (And Why It's Open Source)

Large-format art plotters cost $$+. I wanted one but couldn't justify the price, so I spent twelve months figuring out what works: reliable canvas compensation, whisper-quiet operation, and production-ready performance. Now you can build one without spending a year learning what I already learned.

By releasing Aria as open source, artists and makers everywhere can create large-format physical artwork without breaking the bank. No paywalls. No gatekeeping. Just great tools for making art.
