This is a lid for the "Silica Gel Box with Sliding Lid" by humebeam offering a snapfit mechanism to lock the lid in place.
In order for the lid to work properly, you need to print the version of the box that is designed for the brass insert, but without inserting the insert. The lid is modified to feature a rounded pin that locks in place in the hole intended for the brass insert. The lid is purposely designed to fit quite tight in order to securely fix it in place. Don't worry if you need a little bit of force when inserting the lid for the first time, nothing will break.
Print Instructions
- Printed in PLA, but any rigid filament should do
- 0.2 mm layer height
- 2 wall loops
- 25% gyroid infill
- Printed with the rounded pin facing up
- No supports needed
