Bookshelf speaker stand
Looking for a modern, space-saving solution for elevating bookshelf speakers on a cabinet? This speaker stand was custom-designed to match contemporary interiors, for a clean look and with sufficient support.
Measurements:
- Base: 200mm (height)
- Top plate: 200mm (length) × 160mm (width) × 8mm (height)
- Bottom plate: 210mm (length) × 160mm (width) × 8mm (height)
How I printed it:
- All parts:
- 0.20mm line width
- 4 walls
- 8% grid infill
- For the base I used 18% infill around the peg holes on the top and the bottom (using modifiers)
- No support required - for the plates you may want to use a brim to prevent warping
- Print the base as a V.
Note that in this configuration a single base stand takes about 70m of filament,
top and bottom plate each about 37m
Assembling:
- Use proper strong glue on the base on the flat areas around the peg holes (not in holes - as you may not able to squeeze it out causing gaps). The pegs are merely there for alignment.
My speaker dimensions for reference: 270mm (length) x 170mm (width) x 155mm (height)
I used anti-slip pads on both the top plate (for the speaker itself) and the bottom plate and duct tape for cable routing on the back of the stand.
