Maker Chip Dispenser
This Maker Chip Dispenser with Screw on Bottom and Clip Loop was to address some of my own needs for using during 3DPrintopia last year. When you want to handout your own maker chip and you are not at a table, this dispenser is one way to have them on hand. I used the original design at 3DPrintopia 2024, and had to always take it out of my bag each time I wanted to give one out. This slightly modified design with the Loop allows me to keep the dispenser on a carabiner clipped to my belt.
The addition of the screw on bottom allowed me to load the chips form the bottom or the top depending on my preference at the time.
Pleas note, I most often just slipped them in one at a time defeating the purpose of the bottom screw on cap as well a the top cap.
Another alteration to the original design was the use of the spring form a toilet paper roller. More reliable than Rubber-bands, and easier to assemble. This worked for me as I used 2 of the modified "inner base" plates with the spring between to keep the spring centered. With this modification it then held fewer Makerchips but the trade off was worth it in my opinion.
Pease use the original lid.stl from the original model to complete the set of parts as I made no changes to this part.
