My son wanted to go faster and further with his hot wheels. The official booster is expensive and doesn't run that fast, plus it is battery powered with DD's.  This one runs on 12v DC. You can use a psu or what ever to get that 12v. It runs with a cheap BLDC motor and speed controller with a potentiometer.

HAVE FUN !!

  • Print the parts with some material can endure a bit of heat. The motor can run hot. I personally used PPS-CF

  • Print the wheel with TPU. I used 90A. But I printed with 2 walls, no top no bottom layer, 15% gyroid. That gives the wheel enough smoosh to grip on the car

  • Print the gears with nylon or other strong material. I used PPS-CF
