A few years ago when I installed mine this disappointed me. And I printed a little tab at work to fix this problem. I also uploaded this print in a Dutch R53 group and only heard positive things since.
Now is the time to upload this here for everyone else to use to fix the armrest.
How does it work?
Requirements:
2x 3d printed tab
1x superglue
Installation:
Installation is simple put some superglue onto the tabs. With the steep angle facing the front of the car and 6mm between the round bit and the tab (see the blue highlighted lines)
Place it into the guide slot and press down tight. Your done! Give the glue some time to cure and enjoy!
