As always, it's the small things that decide about usability. For my recently acquired old HP7475 plotter from the 80s, the rubber wheels to move the paper vertically were dried out and had no longer enough grip. Also, the Geneva drive wheel was broken (but there is a 3D replacement available elsewhere already).
So I made replacements for these probably 2ct parts (yet no longer available).
The material is TPU with 0.1 layer size and in my case 15% infill (printed on a MK4S). To get good grip you might modify the infill: more infill makes the wheels harder.
