Crafted through layered filament transparency, it builds eerie depth and texture right in your print.

The PrintSpots Magic:
This isn't your standard model—it's generated via PrintSpots, my free open-source software that converts images into printable stacks exploiting filament translucency for shading (grayscale now, full colour soon!).
Quick Setup for Your Printer:

  • Colour Change: Just one! In Orca Slicer (tested & works great), assign white to the top object—manual swap or AMS, super simple.
  • My Settings: 0.08mm layer height, Alzament PLA ( black and white) , 0.4mm nozzle, 100% rectilinear infill, no supports.
  • Pro Tip: Calibrate your filament once with the built-in wizard (~10 mins) for spot-on results on any FDM setup, like an old Ender 3.

Why Print This?

  • Instant wall art or desk decor with a gothic twist.
  • Endless tweaks: Grab the source image and regenerate your version!
