Description

Decoupling feet for a Voron Trident. This model was inspired by the great HULA feet designed by thrutheframe (https://www.printables.com/model/898357-hula-v10-for-voron-printers/collections). Motivation was that I didn't want to buy TPU filament. Also I'm very lazy when it comes to assemblies so I designed feet which only consist of 3 parts and only need F8-22M thrust bearings as non printed parts. The feet are not fastened but there is a pit for the regular rubber Voron feet.

Use case

The goal was to reduce the stress on the frame. Noise reduction was not a concern. Scratching sounds may occur.

Bill of materials

You'll need 4x F8-22M thrust bearings. I suggest using adhesive anti slip rubber domes on the underside of the outer part to prevent gliding and reducing noise.

Printing

I suggest using PETG for the spring part due to its flexibility. ABS or ASA might also work. Supports are needed for the inner part!

Assembly

Place the bearings onto the outer part into its pit. The flat side of the metal discs must face the bushing balls so that they can roll freely to the sides. Then put in the inner part. Finally push in the spring part with the chamfers facing down. This will lock the part together.
