Hello! This little adapter allows the brush included with a tube of Motul C5 chain paste to fit into tighter areas.
I needed to make this so I could fit the included brush into the tight gap of my moto's swingarm, always lube lightly from the inside of the chain if you hate lube splatter on your freshly washed moto.
Print tips:
- V1 was printed with PLA as that's all my local hackerspace had, so far so good, but I recommend PETG or something tough like that for longevity. 2 walls at 0.2mm, 15% infill.
- I oriented the part to attempt taking advantage of reduced supports, laid down along the “spine” to make splitting the print less likely if any force gets applied.
- However: if you can, turn the print onto its side, take advantage of the applied loads being perpendicular to the long loops of filament. That'll maximize strength, but may need a little post-print filing on the threads.
