This case was designed to fit an 8x32 LED matrix and a microcontroller in the back.
There are two different case thicknesses to give you a little extra space for the hidden microcontroller.
The case is designed to be a tight fit for the LED matrix and some light sanding on the board might be necessary to get it to fit in the case. It all depends on how the boards were manufactured and cut.
A light color PLA such as white or white marble will give you good light output through the lens. In my opinion 0.4 and 0.6 look the best.
There is a guide on the case top to align the lens if you would like to CA glue the lens to the front cover. Recommend just a tiny drop of CA glue one the tabs on each side of the lens.
The top will align with the case bottom and a slight dab of CA glue will secure them together if you want to permanently attach them.
