I made a clamping device for round parts.
Printing instructions:
support - 0,2mm layer hight, printed with one side at the bottom (the base is like an “U”), without support
body - 0,2mm layer hight, printed as shown in preview
spindle - 0,2mm layer hight, the section with the thread 0,1mm layer hight, printed with the thread up
spindle_1 - 0,2mm layer hight, printed vertical, the section with the worm gear 0,1mm layer hight
tension wheel - 0,2mm layer hight, printed as shown in preview
clamping nut, clamping nut_1 and clamping bolt - 0,1mm layer hight
guide - 0,2mm layer hight, printed with the smaller area up
jaw 1, jaw 2 and jaw 3 - 0,2mm layer hight, printed with the side with the number down
You need the parts “guide”, “clamping nut”, “clamping nut_1” and “clamping bolt” 2x, all other parts 1x.
I printed mine in petg, works fine. Put a small amount of grease on the worm gear and the spindles when you assemble the device.
