Okay… so one day I noticed my G502X Lightspeeds Mouse wheel wasnt turning properly.

It felt as if on one side the rubber was hitting something… But what really happened is:

The rubber on the scroll wheel began to stretch as it dissolved… Logitechs rubber parts do that unfortunately. By stretching, the rubber blocked the mouse wheel as it bulged by a few tenths of a millimeter as there wasnt enough clearance on the bottom part.

So what I did was disassemble the entire thing which has dozens of miniature screws that are PH0 or PH00 heads. Took me an hour to figure out what was wrong.

What I actually needed to do was just grab the rubber, cut it off with a pair of scissors and superglue these 2 parts in. Heard the two scroll wheels (G502 and G502X) are compatible… Maybe Ill try that out.

Hope you guys are smarter now. Cheers.
