The Mil Mi-10 is a Soviet heavy-lift helicopter developed in the early 1960s by the Mil Design Bureau. Based on the Mi-6, it was designed to carry large and heavy loads externally, earning it the nickname “Flying Crane.” The Mi-10 features long, thin landing gear that allows it to hover over cargo and pick it up using a sling system. It was used for transporting construction materials, vehicles, and even other aircraft parts. Although it was eventually replaced by more advanced helicopters, the Mi-10 remains an impressive example of Soviet engineering and innovative helicopter design.
Printing Info
There are two versions you can print, one and without a sprue. Since the main rotor is quite big, you have to print it seperatly. There is a sprue model for the rotating and the fixed rotor. You can also print all parts seperatly. Happy printing!
Building Info
When you print the not-fixed version, the rotor might be stuck initially. Attach it to the fuselage and then wiggle carefully back and forth till its loose.
