My first entry for the Cooler Master: FreeForm Playground contest.

I wanted to design a mounting system that would be a bit stronger and more secure by integrating an M4 screw into the design. The back piece fits through 2x holes and has the bolt attached. The round front piece has the corresponding nut and can be bolted to the back piece.

This is only the mounting bracket, so like the 2 hole and 1 hole designs provided by Coolermaster, this is intended to be built upon.

To assembly you will need:

  • A printed M4ScrewMount_Back_V1 part
  • A printed M4ScrewMount_Front_V1 part
  • A M4 screw (length depends on the user needs)
  • A M4 nut

In addition to the .stl files for printing a .3dm file has been included for the front mounting piece for other makers to modify, remix, and utilize!

Fit testing has been conducted with a 3D printed Qube faceplate from the official stl provided by Coolermaster. Strength testing has not been completed at this time.
