This is a macro pad designed to snap into the qube540 PC. I have not yet printed this model, and I have not built it. I will be printing it and adding pictures of the assembled macro pad in the near future. It is intended to be used with cherry mx key switches and a CYT1100 rotary encoder. If you create a simple 1 row matrix, you can get the 4 buttons, and the encoder button into the the matrix.

I intend to build using an Arduino pro micro with USB-C.

BOM:
(1) Arduino Pro Micro Atmega34U
(4) Cherry MX Switches
(4) M3x4x5 Heat Set Inserts
(4) M3x16 Screws
(4) N14148 Diodes
(1) Solid Copper wire Length
Wire
Solder

Printed Parts:
1 of everything but 4 of the push button key switches.

Easily configurable with qmk / vial to create a simple layout. Can even create multiple layers but was designed to be used as a simple Volume Knob, Prev, Play, Next, and maybe lock.

If there is a desire to see it all assembled, I will supply the info.

The encoder knob should end up sticking out ~2mm past the push buttons, indicating its the encoder, and giving a little extra grip room.

I am going to build it and revise it and update the files as I do.

11/5/2025 Edit 1:

I printed the macro pad and should have done that before posting. I had to revise pretty much everything. Again, I haven't printed yet, but I believe these parts will work much better, and I added a blank back plate if anyone wants to print without owning a Qube 540. Also, will add pictures of wiring and assembled product at a later date.
