This is a custom 3D-printed token featuring an axolotl design, created by AGGRC for large events. We call it a doubloon as a nod to Louisiana’s Mardi Gras tradition, where doubloons are collectible coins tossed from floats and shared as keepsakes. Designed by Brittany Ratliff at the Aquatic Germplasm and Genetic Resources Center (AGGRC).
