This is a perfect print when you're nearing the end of your filament spool. I made these for drying my cutting board. I place the cutting board on 4 of them and this allows air to dry the bottom. They stack for compact storage.

I modelled these little standoffs in Blender in about a minute.

You can watch the video

  1. Scale down the default cube
  2. Scale down the top surface to about ½ size
  3. Move the top surface down until you get the ratio you like
  4. Delete the bottom surface
  5. Add a bevel modifier to round the edges
  6. Add a solidify modifier to  create walls
  7. Apply the modifiers
  8. Select all the vertices on the bottom
  9. Scale the bottom vertices in the Z direction to zero. This put them on on the same plane

It took minutes to print and slice and 26 minutes to print 4 of them at an estimated cost of $0.22.
