This is an adaptive weightlifting attachment made to fit the Custom PJ Prosthesis by Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM). It gives users who are missing a hand a stronger, more stable way to grip bars, and handles. It screws onto the TOM prosthetic and helps make pulling movements feel more secure and controlled. It’s simple to print, but it’s not a certified medical device, so it should be used with care.
Print both the lower arm, and latch in PETG as separate pieces and use M5 bolts of various lengths to connect the pieces together and to the TOM prosthesis. Use an infill of 60% to 80% with a honeycomb pattern for strength with a wall thickness of at least 4 mm.
