When mounting a M.2 HAT+ in a standard Raspberry Pi 5 case, there is no protection for HATs. It is possible to mount a HAT with a Raspberry Pi Active Cool underneath, but there is then no cover against dust. The cover can be easily printed. For mounting, you must use M2.5 standoffs with a length of 12 mm and suitable screws. This HAT uses a 40-pin stacking connector to extend the GPIO port. However, with the FreeCAD design, you can also use the cover for other HATs.
