The standpipe for my washing machine drain kept overflowing, turns out my pipes are undersized for my new machine. So, while waiting to have the plumber over to change my drain piping I made this flow restrictor to lower the flow rate out of the drain hose. Now it doesn't overflow and otherwise everything seems to work fine, though draining takes a bit longer than before.
Plugs into Ø18mm hose. Nozzle is Ø4mm. I highly recommend securing tight with a zip tie or hose clamp, unless you want it permanently installed in your pipes.
This seems to work well with my machine (At least as a temporary fix), but I cannot guarantee the same for yours. Devices like this one could damage your drain pump, so use at your own risk!
I printed mine in Prusament ASA, 0.15mm layers.
