I wanted to have a small scale for my pocket to use for self-checks inbetween / rating my mood and energy. Therefore, I created this model.

Additional parts needed (see pictures under documentation):

  • elastic cord (about 1.5mm or 1/16 inch thickness)
  • pearl / ball of 5mm or 0.2 inch diameter with hole bigger than the cord
  • permanent marker(s), to color the printed writings / marks

Printed in PLA+ with ironing on, but feel free to use whatever material you want.

Instructions:

  1. slice and print file
  2. Use permanent maker(s) to color the printed 3D writings / marks. Wait a bit for the paint to dry and apply a second layer.
  3. Make a bigger knot into one end of the elastic cord, pull it from the back to the front through one of the holes of the print. The knot should be big enough to not fit through the hole.
  4. Put the pearl / ball onto the cord.
  5. Pull the cord from the front to the back through the other hole in the print, hold the tension of the cord and make anther big knot. The cord needs to be under tension for the pearl / ball to make the clicking sound.

Enjoy!
