I wanted an optimized storage solution for my US General mini toolbox I got from Harbor Freight. I found that the gridfinity dimensions were quite close, but not prefect. Also the stackable nature of gridfinity means you loose out on some space.
To fix these issues, I designed custom boxes to fit perfectly in the top drawer. I modeled some outer features to account for the rivets on the slides and the center magnet in the rear. I also added spots for labels in the future, as I want to label my hardware with a label maker that I have yet to buy.
All step files have been uploaded, with a few blank templates for the front if you wanted to design your own layout. If there is interest in the rear, I was going to make it all one piece eventually, but the current design worked well for me. If I do make a one piece design for the rear, it will unlock a little bit more storage space and more opportunities for customizability.
