The layer lapse by Whopper Printing is a cool idea, but unfortunately he has very, very few mounting options. I decided to fix that.
Features
- Unlimited adjustability.
- Adjust the height
- Adjust the amount it protrudes (about 1cm)
- Rotate the position for optimal cable routing
- Portability
- The Hall Sensor can be slid out easily, allowing you to move it from printer to print
- Ease of intallation
- The adjustment slots are designed to “hold” M3 hex nuts, making it easier for you to install them.
- You should install the “vertical” component first, so that you can access the screw through the hole on top.
Recommended Print Settings
- Print in ABS or higher if your printer chamber gets hot, or it WILL sag
- 2+ perimeters, ideally 3
- DO NOT use Carbon Fiber filaments for the hall sensor holder, as it can cause shorts
Required Hardware
- 2x M3 hex nut
- 1x M3x6-8 button head (to allow clearance of the cable)
- 1x M3x8 cap head (for the vertical)
- 1x M3 T-Nut (for the vertical)
- 1x M3x18 (for the horizontal L mount)
Install as shown in the photos
