This Modular Hexagonal Display Platform is the perfect 3D-printed solution for neatly organizing and displaying your amigurumi collection.
The Inspiration: My girlfriend is a huge fan of crocheting and every week she makes incredible designs, so I designed a display case worthy of her creations. 🧶🧶
✨ Modular Design and Amigurumi Support
Secure, Expandable Connection: The bases connect easily and securely using a bottom connector. This snap-fit mechanism ensures a rigid connection between the platforms, allowing your display to expand laterally in a beautiful honeycomb pattern (the kind we 3D printing enthusiasts love).
Safe Support for Crochet Structure: The amigurumi are held in place by a vertical peg located in the center of the base. This design is intended to support the figure without affecting its crocheted structure. When removing the amigurumi, the hole created by the stand closes easily (as is typical with crocheted structures), leaving the piece intact and ready to take with you.
Variable Heights for Dynamic Display: I designed the display stand with three different heights: 10, 20, and 30 mm. But I will probably add other heights and sizes soon to perfectly suit any amigurumi.
This stand is ideal for elegantly displaying your work and keeping your collection perfectly organized.

Easy Printing:
Just use 0.2 layer height :)
With my CoreOne I didn't use supports, maybe you need to use them.
Assembly:
Simply print the desired number of bases and clamps.
The components assemble easily and securely.
(You can use a little cyanoacrylate glue to fully secure them).
