Brazen Head (Skull) from Foundation Series.
What It Is: The Brazen Head is a holy relic worshipped by the Church of the Galactic Spirit and, more specifically, a robot-worshipping cult within it known as The Inheritance.
Purpose & Lineage: The skull is believed to be that of a specific, ancient robot. The cultists believe it holds the key to the return of robots and a new era.
Robot Lineage: Its true significance is tied to the "lineage" of robots, specifically Demerzel, the ancient robot companion to the Cleonic Genetic Dynasty.
Connection to Demerzel: The Brazen Head is the skull of the robot Giskard Reventlov, a key figure from Isaac Asimov's Robot series. In the show's lore, Giskard was another ancient telepathic robot like Demerzel. His skull was preserved by the cult, who await a time when robots will "rise again."
