Hey guys! I improved my previous design so it is now much simpler and requires less special parts.

Like last time this model allows for a gear-down reduction so you get a more precise control. Thanks to the spaced out mounting holes, you can use a wider variety of O-rings or rubber bands as the driving belt.

Also I designed it so you can use any other knob design you like on the small wheel! The peg is modeled after the original one from the actual DJ controller :)

What You’ll Need

  • Print each file once (Base, Knob, Knob_Small, Knob_Big)

  • 1× O-Ring or rubber band with  40-50mm diameter

  • 1x M3x8 screw or similar

  • Double-sided tape

Printing Instructions

No special settings required. Use any solid filament you prefer.
Recommended: 20% infill with 3 walls.
No supports needed.

Assembly

  1. Remove the stock encoder knob from your controller.

  2. Apply double-sided tape around the knob area.

  3. Attach the Base to the controller.

  4. Push the big Knob onto the shaft.

  5. Attach the small knob with the M3 screw to the base, don't make it too tight so it can still spin

  6. Mount the O-Ring or rubber band around both knobs

  7. Push the knob on the small knob

I hope you enjoy my design :)
