(If you find any of my models for sale online (ebay, amazon, etc) it is not me, i do not sell prints; especially not at those insane prices. They are all listed as non-commercial works. I do not have a patreon or kofi or any donation platform. These models are only listed here on printables, for free, for you to print or use a print service like PCBway or JLCPCB, or your friends.)
Summary:
A lightweight, super thin, replacement facial interface for the PSVR2.
The design is as close to the lenses as is possible, Every user can achieve the max FOV possible.
Weight: 28 grams vs 62g on the lonny-k model (including their top strap adapter and slide mount)
No screw pull-out issues as the design clips in instead.
2 versions are included:
Version with top-strap intended for users who have vive DAS conversion
Version without that is compatible with the original slide mechanism and halo strap.
What you need:
Facial interface of your choice
I suggest a vive pro style VR cover 12mm+ thick pad such as:
Hot glue or Velcro pads
To attach the facial interface
How to use?
If you are using a vive das and want to use the integrated topstrap mount version, first remove the slide mechanism via the 4 screws visible from the top of the assembly.
You can unclip the black housing near the fan exhaust by pulling up and access the 2 hidden screws without fully assembling the headset.
Remove the 4 screws holding the original facial interface in and remove it.
Attach your facial interface to the frame using hot glue or velcro sticky pads
Clip the interface frame into place on the headset
How to print:
This works fine; all the walls are very thin, 50% infill is suggested for the few areas that are thicker.

Update:
Add 2 new versions to cover a wider range of users and glasses wearers:
5mm thicker version
10mm thicker version
Update 2:
Add 3 new versions
7mm thicker version
15mm thicker version
20mm thicker version
