This is an enclosure for the Lilygo T-Beam 1W

Lilygo's T-Beam 1W works well with Blackout Comms, firmware I write and maintain. Hopefully you can use this and it protects your T-Beam.

It has space for the F550 battery and holds it in place. If you get the USB chargeable battery linked in the instructions (PDF), this enclosure lines up so you can charge the battery in place without having to take it out.

Assembling It

Hopefully you find assembly to be pretty simple, but here's a video demo of how to do it. You will only need one of the 3 included cover plates. The flat one is the one you'll most likely want. But, if you want to experiment with relays (remote on/off switch) or doppler-based proximity/presence sensors, there are plates for those as well.

More About the T-Beam 1W

Keep in mind this device is amped to just above 1 watt. In the US, an amateur radio license is required to transmit with >1 watt using this device. Here's some testing I recently did with it to see how it performs in different scenarios...

I did borrow the on/off switch cover from AlleyCat. The reset of the design is original.
