Working and Tested. Stroke like 18cm.
The Motor is Cheap from Ali express and i would choose some thing faster than mine 6 rpm.
other than the motor you just need some screws nothing more.
There a picture to explain how to put together.
i made holes of 6mm to put magnet or something else to tell when it is completely down.
since i want to use it to automate my small greenhouse window i doesn't need any sensors to tell when it is fully extracted . i will be using a smart board where you can set a timer how long the motor will be on .
my Motor needs like 10 Minutes to fully extract to the Whole length. so timing the motor is good enough to stop at the right position.
For the Screws size you can see on ali express and for the case screws just any 2 or 3 mm will work.
Print Settings
No Support At all.
The Warm gear has big Base just for the 3d Print and then you must cut it.
Maybe other experienced will print it at an Angel with support to be stronger since at this tall Layer Adhesiveness issues could occur but it works for me the way it is.
The Warm Gear Should be printed with 100% infill although mine at 15% was strong enough but had weak point at the end of it which i did make better but to be sure just let it be stronger.
Warm Gear PETG Maybe ? i used Pla since the Petg i have is really bad.
Finally hope i helped you with your project .
i am already working on another Tow Linear Actuator for the same Motor . but they will not be as strong as this one but simpler.
