This model is part of my ongoing experiment with Organic Support Tree as a creative design tool, not only as a support solution.
This time I wanted to generate a simple suspended bridge supported by two organic trees, placed on a riverbed-style base. The result is a compact scenic piece that can work in many cases: as a small display model, a terrain tile for dioramas, or as a quick and interesting print test.
I focused on keeping the model fast to print while still showing a clean, organic look. Print time will always depend on your printer and settings. My printer is not particularly fast, but even for me this print does not take long.
To control the shape of the two trees, I mainly adjusted these slicer parameters:
Maximum Branch Angle: 45°
Preferred Branch Angle: 25°
With these two values, the model already gives a very nice result. You can still change them slightly to get different tree shapes. Also, small differences between printers and setups will naturally create some variation — that is part of the fun of this approach.
If you enjoyed this model or found it useful, I’d really appreciate your support with a download and a like. You can also check my other models to help me reach my account goals.
