This is a fully functional 3D-printed case extension for a NUC11, specifically an “SNUC11TNHI5000.” However, the external dimensions should not differ in the 11th generation.
This enclosure allows you to operate 3x 3.5-inch drives plus one 2.5-inch drive.
Required parts: (Amazon affiliate links)
3(4) x 15cm SATA cables
1 x nvme to sata
1 (2) x buck converter
1 x 92mm fan
8 x M3x10mm
4 x M3x40mm countersunk screws
I printed all of them from PETG with a layer height of 0.2 mm, preferably using TPU for the feet.
The second Buck converter is only necessary if you want to run the fan slowly at 5 V and/or to run a 2.5-inch drive (nuc nvme only).
The fourth SATA cable is only necessary if you do not have a 2.5-inch NUC version (NVMe only).
(I'm not sure if you can boot via the SATA expansion board.)
I took the power supply for the buck converters directly from the power supply socket.

Plans for the future:
2.5-inch only version, which should fit 6+ SSDs.
The largest adapter I've seen was NVMe to 6xSATA + 1x NUC SATA.
A budget version is currently being planned, using the NUC6, which is relatively inexpensive, and if you replace the WiFi board with a 2xSATA board, you have at least 3xSATA.
