This is mostly a concept and may need further tweaks I've overlooked to work. (like the receiver locking tabs colliding with most pumps)

For my implementation, see

The lynx has room for extended draw (see the hijinx) because of its pump assembly, but you can also cut that out to make the middle of the blaster shorter by ~38mm or 1.5". Making the pump enter the receiver deeper enables additional draw on the hijinx, but you can also use it to shorten the front of the blaster as much as you have room to shave off the transfer interface (this method can also be used on the lonx/minx).  The problem is that it requires custom flatbars or heavy reprinting/redesigning.

These hackjobs bring the length to anywhere from 38mm shorter than standard to minx length (depending on how comfortable you are with the pump moving so far back and getting thinner) instead of ~90mm.

A Lynx using the Minx catch assembly would roughly fall directly between the 38mm and 48mm reduction since the Minx has a compact catch assembly and brings the pump 5mm back.

Build Note: Make sure to add the tail to the plunger so it can't get caught outside catch3.

For bar manufacturing, refer to Dan's flatbar technical drawings and work in the reductions below (but transfer bar cutouts will vary). It'll be kinda messy with metric/imperial conversions.

Aluminum flatbar substitutions:

-The pump bars can be printed with a spacer to fill the gap between the pump block and catch assembly and transfer the stress of the spring to the pump block in place of the aluminum bars. Print the spacer scaled to be a little under the distance between the pump block and catch1, then print the endpiece scaled to the remaining amount (or just print one scaled to the full distance and hope if comes out the right length). You can see this idea on the s400 where it is one solid block, but here we can just put a spacer in to achieve a similar result. This setup handled a hijinx+ on k25 (just under 300 fps) just fine for the mag I ran through it.

-The transfer bar doesn't undergo much stress, just getting shuffled back and forth by the pump, with the only real resistance being the ram if the o ring is tight. However, this bar is too long to print in one piece, so it needs to be split up. A small hook interface worked and had shockingly little print zip on my lynx.

-The only bars that can't easily be replaced are the body bars since those are actively tensioned to hold the blaster together and provide rigidity. I'd suggest getting a cutting tool, file, 3/16" round file, and flatbar from a hardware store to manufacture your own if you can't access machining tools.

(the top rail bar is entirely optional, as seen by the many remixes dropping it for a low profile rail. Print or hack one to length as you'd like)

38mm reduction:

By trimming the body spacer, plunger tube, body bars, and transfer bar by 38mm as well as using minx catch3 and plunger (but with a hijinx style tail), you can shorten the rear by 38mm.

48mm reduction:

By shortening all of the bars by 10mm more (48 from the body and transfer bars, 10 from the pump bars) and bringing the pump 10mm back, you get slightly more length reduction. (on top of other changes above)

63mm reduction:

Kinda jank but uses existing hardware (minx body bars and transfer bar). requires reprinting the ram, shroud, and pump. Keep in mind the pump comes further towards the receiver. (also uses spacer, pt, and internal changes from above). Alternatively, you can get custom transfer and body bars to make this version as clean as the others.

73mm reduction:

Uses the cleaner setup from above but with a more aggressive hijinx pump to bring it another 10cm in. This requires a full set of custom bars again in addition to previous changes.

Minx Length:

An even more aggressive hijinx pump to bring it 15cm further in, roughly minx length, and able to take standard minx body bars

Other Body Kits:

Shorten the body spacer by 38mm and the shroud by the appropriate amount remaining (10, 25, or 35) by cutting from the middle of them.

I also recommend decreasing the id of your pump block to ~19mm or lower if you aren't using an internal scar for improved durability, especially for the shortest pumps and the janky minx bar one.
