I wanted to teach myself how to 3D model gears and made a basic planetary gear set to do so.
works great, But i did not intend to make this for sharing, so you will need some uncommon hardware for assembly. iirc i used 3x28 cylinder pins, M5 heat inserts and m5 countersunk screws.
Since its herringbone gears, the ring gear has a slit in it and needs to be bent open a bit for assembly.
(the green model was a test piece and used plastic spacers. those had too much play, so i swapped to the cyliner pins. i did not upload the files for the test.)
