Protect your Madrock Drones 2 / D2.one strap from abrasion
After wearing the Drones 2 and D2.one, my strap with the buckle attached was wearing down, and the buckle on my Drones 2 actually snapped.
This sacrificial piece protects the buckle and the strap from abrasions so that your strap remains strap-able for longer.
I think this might work with other Madrock climbing shoes like the Shark 3, but I have yet to test them out. If you happen to try them out, do let me know!
